Awful first week to the holidays...

The only things keeping me sane at the moment are the following songs. Delphic - Halcyon, Doubt. And Everything Everything - MY KZ, UR BF, without these guys, I would be going crazy at the moment. What a shit beginning to a holiday. Although thank god I planned my next week, Monday, I'm meeting up with mates and getting so well and truly hammered my problems disappear. Tuesday I think I have something planned, not too sure. Wednesday I have a job interview FINALLY! Thursday I'm going to Manchester, and Friday probably do some work/revision, then go out into town for ze night. I just hope that next week is better than this week. What an awful Friday night it was last night. Possibly the worst in my life. I hope they don't get any worse. On a brighter note, next week should be fantastic and am looking forward to seeing people i've not seen for 6 months. Should be fantastic.

Begining of the week

So it's a Monday, I went into college thinking awesome short day, home at 4, no work... Little did I know there was work to be set and a lot of it. But it's reet, did most of it in class, but now I sit down to finish it, I really can't be bothered. Really isn't good is it? But yeah whatever, hopefully my new duffel coat will be here tomorrow, and have a blazer purchased. Tomorrow should be pretty decent.

The Sonics

This band for me at the moment, is just the shizz. Their sounds are just fantastic, really raw drums and guitar, with an almost punky RnB Bassline, absolute genius lyrics, mentioning strychnine in a way nobody in the 1960's would even think of, these guys are just musical legends, if you haven't already heard of these guys. You seriously need to give them a listen, the creators of punk are here, and if you're a punk fan, then this tops it all.

Wow, first blog post in what...

Shit happens when you party naked. (Christmas was fantastic, late blog post btw) new years was brill as well. Back to college and man it's boring. Sitting there falling asleep, although I can't complain we did have 2 days off in a row, so that was a benefit well worth celebrating with a lovely day's revision and internet browsing etc etc. At least it's Friday tomorrow. A day to look forward too among boredom and throat slitting painful business. Ha on a brighter note, the band is going great, everything seems to be good for me atm, except for business ofc. But yeah I just need to concentrate and that'll be solved no problemo. btw. MODS!

Final week.

well this weeks been preeeeeeety good tbh. Monday was alright, had my usual late start. Tuesday was pretty damn good as well. Got to finish at 12.15 which was fantastic. And then there is Wednesday, which are brilliant all the time we went to Emma's house where she had prepared christmas crackers, and she had ice cream with sparkelers in, cannot beat that.

Then It's today thrusday, last day of college and now it's time for a relaxing 2 weeks of christmas now. And probably going to be going out tonight, which should be funny, watching as people get gradually drunker and things that aren't funny become hilarious. Can't beat a good night out. Let's hope theres more to be this Christmas :)

Wednesday :D

Today was good, but so are most Wednesdays to be honest. Went to Emma's house which seems to have become a weekly outing now. We sat in her living room and eat Ice Cream again which was brill. And we all found a weak spot for Joe, his toe's which he was so distressed about, began crushing Jess to death. But a funny Wednesday as per.

And my shirt came which is fantastic news, been looking forward to it since last Thursday, crappy postage -.- but yeah it's here and i love it, so I'm not complaining :)

Work!

I've got so much work to do it's untrue! Well that may be a bit exaggerated, but i do have a fair bit to do. Really can't be bothered at all, but i suppose it has to be done. And at the moment I'm just staring blankly at it, looking for literally anything other than the work to do. I can't seem to get motivated at the moment. Especially with work but at least if i get it done, i wont have to redo anything and i wont have anything to do over Christmas holidays. Ahh yeah i do, I've got to revise stupid AS levels! But other than my little rant over work I'm pretty happy :)

Friday

Wow, what a fantastic Friday, i can't believe it's a Friday and I've done jack shit again. It's getting rather irritating that i don't have ID, i really need to get some. I'm sick of being stuck inside on weekends. I want to experience town, i mean it's not like I've never been drinking there, it's just been bloody ages since I've had a decent Friday night out. But i suppose, today at college was alright, we shared laughs like pretty much everyday. drawing on Jess' arm and what not. I labeled my drawing 'penis of the day'. Oh and Jess if you have read this, you did pull the push flap on the machine :) x

Sooooooooooo far.

This week's been pretty good so far. Monday and Tuesday we're a bit dodgy, wasn't sure about parents evening and business deadlines etc. But Wednesday was brilliant went to Emma's house like we have been doing now for a few Wednesdays, we ate ice cream in the middle of her living room whilst listening to The Kinks, a summery song whilst in winter(yes that's ironic) ha. But yeah today was pretty funny as well, been a quite relaxed day till i got home and i did more work, but at least that's sorted. But it's weekend warmup tomorrow, not sure what to make of it, whether i can actually be bothered going or not. My mates band is playing so it will be good to see if there any good. And i don't think i have anything else planned, but if something else does come up, i may have to just ditch weekend warmup.

Absolutely fantastic night for radio tonight. The Clash London Calling. Can't beat that at all, good night lined up :)

I'm on e-bay buying yet more stuff tonight. It's become kind of addictive. I mean I've bought 3 things and I've had my account for about a week and a half. Not good, but meh the stuff on there is so cheap, the urge just gets you haha.

I'm pretty happy, me and a few mates are making a Brit-pop band, alongside mine Joe Phil's and Georgie's. It should be quality, on stage with Fred Perry polo shirts, Harrington jackets Etc. Can't wait :D

What an era, scooters, mods, parkas, suits, Fred Perry at it's biggest selling point ever. Boy would i love to have lived as a 18 year old back then, and embraced the subcultures that are almost forgotten today. But, i have the majority of these things now, so i can't really argue, but having the original stuff back then would have just been amazing. And that is what era i would of loved to live in :)

Today was a pretty good day, went to town with Lou and Conor, some pretty stupid pictures up on facebook, but yeah was a nice and relaxed day, seems to be like a weekly thing, town on a Saturday, and there are different people there every week, but tomorrow, i have to start my business work, although not to panic i don't have as much as i thought, so i feel a lot better about that ha.

College week over!

Wow what a fantastic week this week's been, if you didn't know, that sentence was packed with sarcasm. I suppose it hasn't been awful, but its just been really boring, and i have got loads of work to do over the weekend, so it's going to be a really bad weekend this week, but i suppose thats college! Can't argue though, politics is still pretty good, really didn't want to do an assesment today, but had to do it. So i've probs failed that, if not then there was a divine intervention or something. On a brighter note, i'm going to see Paul Weller soon, so that should be absolutely quality.
